Rabbit Ridge Boer Goats was established in early 2001 with one full blood registered Boer buck and nine pregnant nannies of undetermined origin. Starting as just a hobby, with only about 10 or 15 goats to play with and clean up a field or two, we soon fell in love with these wonderful animals. Since then, our herd has grown, at one time up to about 300 Boer & Boer crosses, with most of the billy kids going to the meat market. We bought more full blood Boer does and Boer bucks with superb genetics, which we have bred to achieve some of the best Boer goats in this area. Our lines include many ennobled names such as Magnum, Bingo, Mojo Magic, Kaptien, TRR Teri, JLF Rambo, Checotah, Frances, Top Brass, Eggs Blake and many more, too numerous to mention, along with such well known names as Cloud Dancing and Starbuck.
Due to many factors, including our ages & health, we must now cut back our current herd of about 125 Boers and Boer goat crosses. We intend to keep only about 15 goats. We have for sale too many to list and show each one on this website, but we can show you a few. Most are already registered and all others can be. Rabbit Ridge Boer Goats is nestled away on 220 acres in the southeast corner of Wayne County, MO, surrounded on three sides by Mingo National Wildlife Refuge and about 10 miles from Wappapello Lake. We are within just a few hours of many locations in Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Mississippi and, of course, Missouri. We'd love to have you visit our farm.
